NFL fan ruins Trump campaign video with two cheeky salutes from crowd

Donald Trump thanked Pittsburgh Steelers fans for their “great reception” during his gameday visit on Sunday, despite at least one person in the crowd greeting him with two middle fingers.

The GOP nominee, who was booed by some fans who told him to “get out of town,” received mixed reactions when he dropped by the Steelers’ game against the New York Jets at Acrisure Stadium after a busy day at the campaign trail including a staged McDonald’s service.

Video shows the former president waving from a private suite in the stadium as a fan in sunglasses gives him a one-finger salute and apparently booes him as a “USA” chant breaks out, according to a clip originally shared by a Trump campaign official Margot Martin.

Another person is then seen confronting the fan and bringing his arms down.

At least one other fan at the NFL game also appears to have snubbed Trump, according to an Associated Press photo and a clip shared by the GOP nominee on his Truth Social platform.

“Thank you to the Steelers fans for the great reception tonight,” wrote Trump, who was the guest of an unidentified suite holder at the game.

The former president has not always been a favorite at football matches.

Some college football fans gave him the bird, while others threw him a mix of boos and cheers during a visit to an Iowa-Iowa State game last year.
