    Nice weather in store for day 1 of the Breeders’ Cup

    A trio of also eligible competitors were selected ahead of the Nov. 1 Breeders’ Cup card Del Mar.

    All three were candidates for the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf (G1T). No longer eligible for the race Super speed , Tiger-like And Acquitted . The Juvenile Fillies Turf is the eighth race on Friday’s card.

    After forecasts called for a chance of rain on Friday, Del Mar was gifted with sunny, clear skies and an expected high temperature of 69 degrees. The first Breeders’ Cup race of the day is Race 6, the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint (G1T) at 5:45 PM ET/2:45 PM PT.

    Scratches in today’s World Championship races also include:

    From race 6, the Breeders’ Cup Youth Grass Sprint, Out on bail And Destroy it are scratched.
    From race 7, the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies (G1), Non-compliant is scratched.
    From race 8 onwards, the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf is also eligible Super speedTigerish and Acquitted are scratched.
    From race 10 onwards the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf (G1T) Minaret station , Tenacious leader , Sabretooth And Kale’s angel are scratched.
