The San Francisco 49ers defeated the Dallas Cowboys 30-24 on “Sunday Night Football” in Week 8. The win led to a somewhat awkward moment on the field during a live post-game interview.

49ers defensive end Nick Bosa crashed NBC sideline reporter Melissa Stark’s live postgame interview Brock Purdy, George Kittle and Isaac Guerendo on the Levi’s Stadium field; The 49ers star appeared in the background wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat.

Bosa leaned over Purdy’s shoulder and pointed to his white and gold cap, which bore former President Donald Trump’s “MAGA” slogan.

His teammates paused and acknowledged him; Kittle laughed as Bosa returned to the locker room. Stark appeared caught off guard as Bosa was not among the game’s stars selected for the live interview.

“Okay, Nick Bosa with a message,” Stark said.

Bosa spoke on stage after the match and was questioned about the hat.

“I’m not going to talk about it too much, but it’s an important time,” he said.

Bosa had three tackles and one sack in the win. The four-time Pro Bowler had 3.5 sacks and 25 tackles in Week 8. The 49ers improved to 4-4 on the year.
