Nick Jonas fled for safety during his Tuesday night concert in Prague after a laser was pointed directly at the singer.

In a video obtained by Fox News Digital, Jonas is sitting at the piano on stage when he abruptly stands up and gestures a “time out” with his hands.

The 32-year-old singer takes a break as he continues drawing, runs down the stairs and continues through an alley between two barriers of fans.

Jonas and his brothers, Kevin and Joe, are currently on the “Jonas Brothers World Tour”, in celebration of their five albums. According to social media posts, Kevin and Joe left the stage shortly after their brother.

An additional video taken during the concert and posted online in slow motion shows a laser floating on Jonas’ head.

The O2 Arena, the Prague concert venue where the men played, confirmed to Fox News Digital that a laser sparked the exodus from the stage. “We can confirm that the Jonas Brothers’ performance had to be interrupted for several minutes due to the subject’s use of a banned laser pointer,” a spokesperson told the outlet. “The organizing service responded to this. After a few minutes the band continued their performance.”

A representative for Jonas and his brothers did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment. Joe has posted on social media since the incident, sharing a handful of videos, but made no reference to the scare.

Fans online were shocked by the situation, with many writing that musicians should not have to worry about safety issues during their performances.

“This is scary… and could have terrible consequences, so please stop complaining about the artists having to cancel their shows,” one user wrote to X.

“He is so scared. This breaks my heart. He is a father and husband first and foremost. People need to be more aware,” another complained.

Jonas is married to actress Priyanka Chopra, and the couple has one daughter, Malti Marie, 2.

Unfortunately for Jonas, this isn’t the first time he’s had a problem on stage. Last year, he fell awkwardly into a hole during a performance at a concert in Boston. He quickly got up and continued, but was visibly startled.

The brothers will play in Krakow, Poland on Wednesday evening.
