Nicole Kidman admitted she was “so excited” while filming her new erotic drama “Babygirl” that she had to temporarily put on the brakes.

In the kinky film, Kidman plays a powerful businesswoman who risks her career and family life to have a passionate affair with her much younger intern, played by ‘Where the Crawdads Sing’ actor Harris Dickinson, 28.

The 57-year-old Oscar winner said staging sexual scenes with Dickinson and Antonio Banderas, who plays her husband in the film, sometimes became too much.

“There were times when we were filming and I thought, ‘I don’t want to have an orgasm anymore,’” Kidman told the Sun.

The ‘Big Little Lies’ star took on the project to challenge herself, but the process came with moments that were simply too much for her.

Kidman even admitted that during filming she often said, “Don’t come near me” and “I hate doing this.”

“I don’t care if I’m never touched again in my life!” she added.

Even Dickinson revealed at a press conference that he would tell the cast and crew to “step away for a moment” if he needed space on set.

The steamy trailer for the upcoming film is already giving moviegoers a glimpse of what’s to come, with sexual tension flooding the screen.

“It was so present to me the whole time that it was almost like a burnout,” Kidman said.

This isn’t the first time Kidman has pushed the boundaries with sexual roles.

She appeared in an orgy scene in the 1999 film “Eyes Wide Shut” with her then-husband, Tom Cruise, playing a prostitute who feigned an orgasm while Ewan McGregor’s character sang a song in 2001’s “Moulin Rouge.”

“As an actor I’ve always been on a quest, I always think: ‘Where haven’t I been? And what can I discover as a human?’” she recently told People.

Off the big screen, the mother of four is married to country superstar Keith Urban. They married in 2006 and have two children named Sunday and Faith.

She was previously married to Cruise from 1990 to 2001, and the couple adopted two children: daughter Isabella, 30, and son Connor, 28.

‘Babygirl’ hits theaters on Christmas Day.
