Nicole Kidman feels the love after her heartbreaking loss.

The 57-year-old took to Instagram to thank fans for their support following her mother’s death Janelle Ann Kidman.

“My sister and I, along with our family, want to thank you for the outpouring of love and kindness we have felt this week,” the Oscar winner wrote on Sept. 12. “Every message we have received from those who loved and adored our mother has meant more to us than we can ever express. Thank you from our entire family for respecting our privacy while we care for one another.”

Nicole shared the statement with her sister Antonia Kidman in a joint post, sharing a series of throwback photos of their late mother.

The Big little lies star was the first to share the news that her mother had passed away after she abruptly left the Venice Film Festival in early September. At the time, she had Halina Rejnwho directed her in the film Baby girlissue a statement on her behalf explaining her absence.
