Oklahoma’s Halloween Forecast:

The extended Halloween forecast looks favorable, with Friday bringing much cooler weather.

Thursday morning lows

Strong southerly winds of 20 to 35 mph will continue, with temperatures reaching the 80s. After Wednesday’s storms, clearer and cooler conditions are expected for Thursday, with morning lows in the upper 40s to lower 50s and afternoon highs in the mid 60s.

High temperatures on Thursday

Halloween night offers ideal conditions, with temperatures during peak trick-or-treating hours reaching the 50s and winds gradually decreasing.

Looking ahead:

However, rain and storms are expected to return on Saturday evening and last through Monday, with the possibility of very heavy rain in a “training rain”.

With rainfall in excess of 10cm expected in some areas, localized flooding may be a problem, but significant flooding is unlikely given the currently dry lakes and rivers.
