The new season of “Saturday Night Live” premieres on September 28, but one cast member from New Jersey won’t be there.

Chloe Troast will not be participating in Season 50 of “SNL,” she announced Monday night.

“Unfortunately, I was not asked back to SNL this season,” Troast, 27, said in an Instagram post. “I wish I could go back and be with all the amazing friends I made there, it really felt like home. But that wasn’t going to happen.”

Troast grew up in Ho-Ho-Kus and joined the cast of “SNL” in 2023 as a lead for season 49.

“I want to thank everyone who supported me,” she wrote in the post. “Especially everyone who came to my tour this summer, wore character costumes, and had such beautiful things to say. You mean the world to me. I hope I was able to spread joy and laughter, all the love. Onward and upward.”

The comedian shared the news with her followers on Instagram when “SNL” announced three new additions for Season 50: leads Emil Wakim, Ashley Padilla and Jane Wickline.

Troast announced her departure from “SNL” weeks after cast member Punkie Johnson and lead actress Molly Kearney both said they would not return for the new season.
