And thanks to two Top-5 wins in the first five games, the Tigers are the first team to do that since Kansas in 1990. That’s it. That’s all Auburn accomplished in the first month of the season. No problem. After beating Houston and Iowa State, maybe the Tigers can claim a Big 12 title while they’re at it. Auburn’s 18-point comeback was the biggest under Bruce Pearl since coming back from 19 points down at Ole Miss in 2020. The 18-point comeback is also the biggest comeback in a Top-5 matchup since No. 2 Kansas came back from 19 points down to defeat No. 5 Missouri in 2012.
