No. 7/7/7 Alabama falls 24-3 at Oklahoma

NORMAN, OK. – No. 7/7/7 Alabama football (8-3, 4-3) was defeated 24-3 by the Oklahoma Sooners (6-5, 2-5) on Saturday night at Gaylord Family – Oklahoma Memorial Stadium.

Quarterback Jalen Milroe finished 11 of 26 through the air, totaling 164 yards and three interceptions. The redshirt junior also contributed seven rushing yards on 15 carries. Jam Molenaar led the Crimson Tide backfield with 45 rushing yards on 12 carries, while Justice Haynes picked up 18 yards on the ground as a result of his three rushes.

Germie Bernard managed team highs in receiving yards (60), receptions (4) and targets (8). Josh Cuevas hauled in two catches for 40 yards, while Ryan Williams turned his two catches into 37 yards.

On defense, linebacker Jihad Campbell was responsible for a team-best twelve tackles, including three solo stops. The Butkus Award semifinalist also recorded a half tackle for loss. Safety Bray Hubbard collected eleven total tackles to go with eight solo stops and a forced fumble. Colleague safety Malachi Moore also finished with double-digit stops, totaling 10 tackles with eight individual stops while producing Alabama’s only sack.
