The countdown to the 2024 Country Music Association Awards has begun, and Nashville’s biggest names are hoping to add some new hardware to their trophy cases.

The 58th annual edition of the awards ceremony — co-hosted by Luke Bryan, Peyton Manning And Laine Wilson – takes place on Wednesday, November 20 at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. Morgan Wallen leads the nomination list with seven nods, while Chris Stapleton And Cody Johnson are in second place with five each. PostMalone and Wilson are also at the top with four nominations each.

Wilson shared her gratitude to the CMA after this year’s nominations were announced in September. “Thank you @cma 😭🙏🏻❤️,” she wrote via Instagram at the time. “It is an incredible honor to be nominated in each of these categories. And congratulations to all my friends. Seeing you all win makes me excited.”

At the 2023 CMAs, Wilson took home the award for Entertainer of the Year, becoming the first woman to win the awards show’s top honor in 12 years. She has been nominated for the same award this year alongside Wallen, Stapleton, Luke Combs And Jelly roll.
