Nvidia grows revenue in the third quarter. How does the stock react?

Nvidia (NVDA) reports third-quarter earnings, beating both revenue ($35.1 billion vs. $33.25 billion expected) and earnings expectations (adjusted earnings of $0.81 per share vs. $0.74 expected). Nvidia’s data center business alone is worth $30.8 billion.

Despite the setback, Nvidia shares are in the red during extended trading hours as the chip giant forecasts revenue of $37.5 billion for the current fourth quarter, above Wall Street estimates of $37 billion. Many analysts argued that Nvidia’s stock reaction would weigh heavily on the extent to which it outperformed estimates and expectations.

Market Domination Overtime hosts Julie Hyman and Josh Lipton dig through Nvidia’s earnings numbers and the expected demand the Blackwell AI chips should bring to the company in the coming quarters.
