Occasional showers and storms plus the temperature drops quickly!

CLEVELAND – There will be intermittent rain chances this evening into overnight across NE Ohio, especially north of Rt. 30. Temperatures will start to drop into the mid 40s for many tonight.

More lake effect rain is possible Monday and Tuesday as colder air pushes in from the northwest. Temperatures will struggle to warm up early in the work week as many only reach the low 50s by mid-week.

The colder air brings the possibility of our first wet snowflakes of the season Monday evening through Tuesday morning, especially in the snow belt region.

The pattern of cold and rough conditions will finally break by the end of the week, with sunshine returning Thursday through the weekend. Temperatures will be closer to average on Thursday and Friday.

What to expect

  • On and off showers Sunday evening
  • Even cooler next week – highs in the 50s
  • Stormy winds Monday/Tuesday
  • Lake effect showers on Mondays and Tuesdays
