    Ohio State Football unveils white alternate uniforms for Oregon games

    PORTLAND, Ore. – Ohio State will wear white alternate uniforms during Saturday night’s game at Oregon.

    The uniform, which was unveiled on the team’s social media accounts, includes both white jerseys and pants, along with the traditional scarlet helmet.

    “It feels icy in Eugene,” read the messages.

    The Buckeyes last wore the popular look, often referred to as their “icy whites,” during a big win at Michigan State in 2020.

    Oregon, which wears a variety of uniform combinations, debuts all-black alternate uniforms from the ‘Fly Era’ era.

    The Ducks previously asked fans to wear black to Autzen Stadium as part of a “blackout” theme for their first game against the Buckeyes as part of the Big Ten.

    Along with three other former Pac-12 schools, Oregon joined the conference this summer as part of the league’s expansion to the West Coast.
