Olympia 2024: Chris Bumstead wins 6th Classic Physique title and announces retirement

Chris Bumstead is officially a six-time Classic Physique Olympia champion and he has also officially retired from competition.

The man known as CBum is as dominant as ever as he completed both the preliminary and final stages in Las Vegas, Nevada over the weekend of October 11 and 12. He won this title by defeating runner-up Mike Sommerfeld and Urs Kalecinski, the third vote. He was already the longest reigning champion in the division’s history.

Bumstead first stepped onto the Olympia podium in 2017, when he finished second behind then-champion Breon Ansley. He finished second again in 2018 before beginning his run at the top in 2019.
