    While OU Football was scheduled to host South Carolina on Saturday at 11:45 a.m., we ran 100 simulations of the Week 8 game in the video game “EA SPORTS College Football 25” to see which team is expected to win.

    Here are the results, including the average points score for both teams and the Most Valuable Player projections:

    Results of Oklahoma vs. South Carolina Simulations on ‘College Football 25’

    Out of 100 simulations, OU won 54 times. The average score was 24-20 in favor of the Sooners.

    A total of 59 games were decided by one possession, and eight games went into overtime. Of those overtime games, South Carolina won five.

    The highest scoring combined game was OU’s 52-45 win in Game 53, while the lowest scoring combined game was OU’s 13-7 win in Game 98. Here are some more notable stats for both teams:

    • Biggest victory: OU won by 28 points in Game 18 (28-0)

    • Highest scoring game: OU scored 52 points in Game 53 (52-45)
    • Lowest scoring game: OU scored only three points in Game 25 (20-3)
    • Most Valuable Player: Michael Hawkins Jr. won MVP 38 times. The true freshman quarterback’s best performance came in Game 53 when he completed 18 of his 26 passes (69.2%) for 298 yards and five total touchdowns during a 52-45 overtime win.
    • Outstanding performance: Jackson Arnold earned his only MVP selection in Game 91. The second-year quarterback replaced Hawkins, who was injured, in the second quarter and completed 16 of his 21 passes (76.2%) for 243 yards and three total touchdowns during a win of 31–17.

    South Carolina

    • Average points: 20
    • Average yards per play: 298
    • Biggest victory: South Carolina won by 20 points in Game 66 (27-7)
    • Biggest loss: South Carolina lost by 28 points in Game 18 (28-0)
    • Highest scoring game: South Carolina scored 49 points in Game 7 (49-38)
    • Lowest scoring game: South Carolina went scoreless in Game 18 (28-0)
    • Most Valuable Player: LaNorris Sellers earned 33 MVP selections. The redshirt freshman quarterback’s best performance came in Game 38 when he completed 26 of his 37 passes (70.3%) for 264 yards and four total touchdowns during a 34-28 win.
    • Outstanding performance: O’Donnell Fortune earned his only MVP selection in Game 79. The redshirt senior cornerback recorded three tackles and two interceptions during a 23-13 victory.
