It’s almost time to kick off the 209th edition of the Green Bay Packers-Chicago Bears rivalry as the two teams meet for the first time in the 2024 season. The Packers enter Soldier Field today as substantial favorites, not in the last place thanks to the Bears’ recent struggles and the fact that Green Bay came in mostly healthy and coming off a bye week.

The Packers will look to start the second half of their 2024 season on a high after ending the first half with a disappointing loss to another NFC North rival two weeks ago. That 24-14 loss to the Detroit Lions should leave a bad taste in the Packers’ proverbial mouths, and they will certainly look to bounce back and take out their frustrations on the Bears in a productive manner.

Meanwhile, the Bears will see if a change in offensive coordinator can help get rookie quarterback Caleb Williams started. The team fired former OC Shane Waldron earlier this week and handed the keys to the offensive playcalling machine to Thomas Brown.
