The Carolina Panthers are benching quarterback Bryce Young after an 0-2 start to the 2024 season, NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero reported Monday, per a source.

According to Pelissero, Andy Dalton will take Young’s place in Las Vegas starting this week.

Young, the No. 1 overall pick in 2023, struggled in the second game of his sophomore season, completing 31 of 56 passes for 245 yards with no touchdowns and three interceptions.
