ATLANTA — JuJu Smith-Schuster’s second catch since returning to the Kansas City Chiefs came late in the third quarter Sunday night against the Atlanta Falcons. It was a big one.

Smith-Schuster’s catch on third-and-7 went for 13 yards and a touchdown, giving the Chiefs a 22-14 lead.

Harrison Butker’s post-try shot hit a post but was worthless, leaving the Falcons just one score behind.

Smith-Schuster led the Chiefs’ wide receivers in receptions in 2022, but left for the New England Patriots as a free agent after that season. He returned to the Chiefs this year after being released by the Patriots in training camp.
