The Pittsburgh Penguins have acquired a 2027 third-round draft pick and a 2025 fifth-round draft pick (originally belonging to Chicago) from the Washington Capitals in exchange for forward Lars Eller.

The acquisition of the picks gives Pittsburgh 10 selections in both the 2025 and 2027 NHL Drafts, to accompany nine selections in the 2026 NHL Draft.
