A PETA The investigator draws attention to a disturbing form of animal abuse he claims to have witnessed in a Butterball turkey plant.

In a new video released by the agency, the researcher, who remains anonymous by speaking from the shadows, claims he went undercover at a factory and witnessed workers sexually assaulting turkeys before slaughtering them.

“One man fucked a chained turkey one day, and another time another worker stuck his fingers into a turkey’s cloaca, which is actually her vagina, while the line was stopped,” he explained.

Footage from his time at the factory is shown throughout the video. In one scene, a worker appears to be roughing up a turkey, while in another scene an employee says, “I kicked the motherfucker out of the motherfucker.” In another shot, a worker is seen apparently sitting on a turkey.

The location of this factory and the timing of the images remain unclear. Unfortunately, PETA has made similar accusations against Butterball in the past. In 2017the agency has the Ozark, ArkansasButterball “slaughterhouse,” with workers accused of abusing the many birds processed there. PETA claimed that employees kicked, threw and essentially beat the live turkeys to death. Shockingly, that analysis also claimed that Butterball employees were sticking their fingers into the vaginas of female turkeys.

The PETA agent hopes this video will raise awareness and encourage people to reconsider consuming turkey, especially with Thanksgiving approaches.

“If even one person sees this video and stops eating birds, it will be worth it,” he concluded at the end of the video.
