PETA undercover video alleges shocking abuse of turkeys at Butterball factory

An undercover investigation by PETA purported to expose animal abuse at a Butterball turkey factory, alleging that workers sexually abused the animals before slaughtering them.

In a video posted to Instagram, an anonymous researcher details incidents in which workers allegedly held handcuffed turkeys and stuffed fingers into their robes while the production line was shut down.

The footage on social media reportedly shows the inside of an unspecified factory, where a worker sat on a turkey while another appeared to kick the bird while shouting expletives.

This is not the first time Butterball has been accused of animal cruelty by PETA.

In 2017, investigators accused workers at a slaughterhouse in Ozark, Arkansas, of abusing the turkeys by kicking and throwing the birds.

“If even one person sees this video and stops eating birds, it will be worth it,” the researcher stated at the end of the recent video.

The animal rights group also protested President Joe Biden’s pardon of two turkeys on Monday by displaying “Hell on Wheels” — a life-size, hyper-realistic turkey transporter covered in images of the birds crammed into crates on their way to slaughter.

“This ‘pardonous’ sham is nothing more than a presidential endorsement of the cruel, destructive turkey industry,” PETA wrote. social media.
