Fiorentina president Rocco Commisso and his family were at the Arthur Ashe Stadium on Sunday to watch Jannik Sinner become the first Italian male individual tennis player to win the US Open.

Sinner made history for Italian tennis on Sunday by becoming the first male individual player to win the US Open.

The 23-year-old won the Australia Open in January.

Sinner defeated American Taylor Fritz 3-0 on Sunday in a sold-out Arthur Ashe Stadium.

As Fiorentina revealed on X, formerly Twitter, their president Commisso was in the stands to watch the historic final.
