Photographer was reportedly killed by woman who was angry at photos

Police in Florida have arrested a woman in connection with a murder and are looking for another woman who they say streamed the killing live on social media.

Lauren Ashley Martin, 34, died after being shot multiple times outside a home in Sanford, Florida, on Tuesday, Nov. 5, Sanford police said in a statement.

Police arrested 35-year-old Savon Chantay Tyler on murder charges in connection with the slaying. In an update on Friday, Sanford police said they have charged another woman, Lakevia Davonna Pringle, on allegations she streamed the attack on social media.

Tyler and Martin were involved in a verbal confrontation that led to the eventual killing, Sanford police say.

Martin’s family told WESH that she was a photographer and had an ongoing feud with Tyler over photos she took of the suspect.

The victim’s aunt told the outlet that comments were made online, without specifying further details, and after some “back and forth” between the commenters, the situation got “out of hand.”

On Tuesday night, just hours before the murder, Martin streamed a video live on her Facebook page in which she repeatedly said she was going to Sanford to “hit” someone (the name of the person she wanted to “hit” was not clearly in the video).

Martin drove to Tyler’s home, where they continued their verbal altercation before it became physically violent, Sanford police said in their statement.

Pringle, identified by The Miami Herald Tyler’s girlfriend also recorded the incident live on Facebook, the outlet reported, citing an arrest affidavit.

The livestream from Pringle’s phone showed Tyler allegedly leaving the home with a child’s baseball bat and gun before resting the gun on the ground, according to the affidavit.

As the victim and suspect begin their fight, Martin catches the bat at one point,The Miami Herald reported, with reference to the statement. Tyler then reportedly takes the gun and shoots Martin.

“During livestreaming, Pringle can be heard encouraging Tyler to continue the altercation, which led to (Martin’s) murder,” Sanford police said in their statement Friday.
