Play ‘Agatha All along’ episode 1 now for a special surprise

Disney Plus has rolled out a lot of new footage from the upcoming Marvel series on the service, but it did so in an… unusual way. I recommend that you play episode 1 of Agatha All along right now, even if you have already watched it.

I’m not even entirely sure if this was on purpose, but the new skippable trailer before the episode starts is a full showcase of upcoming projects. And after this became widespread, they also set the release dates for everything shown here:

  • What if…? Season 3 – December 22
  • Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man – January 25
  • Daredevil Born Again – March 4
  • Iron Heart – June 24
  • Eyes of Wakanda – August 6
  • Marvel Zombies October 2025
  • Wonder Man – December 2025

Here’s the place if you don’t really want to play Agatha:

That’s a whopping six MCU Disney Plus projects in 2025, when they were previously said to be delayed. Although yes, half of it is animated. That’s in addition to Marvel’s extensive 2025 film slate, including Captain America Brave New World (February 14), Thunderbolts (May 2) and Fantastic Four (July 25). Nine full projects after a somewhat less good year in 2024 (where Deadpool and Wolverine still managed to earn a billion dollars and Agatha All Along is perhaps the best MCU series to date).

As for what was I believe this is the most unleaked Daredevil video we’ve seen here, although it’s still not the full trailers that have already been shown to convention goers and that Disney has inexplicably not released. It’s also our first teaser for Ironheart, the character introduced in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, and footage of Wonder Man. Even in a short clip, that show is criticized for deviating from the comic in seemingly major ways.

Again, I’m not sure if this Agatha Easter egg is on purpose, but I mean probably, considering the two-episode finale of Agatha All Along happens tonight, much to the dismay of fans who wish it could go on indefinitely to go. But it’s a rare MCU Disney Plus series that actually feels like a real TV show, broken down into real episodes for nine episodes, rather than a three-hour movie cut into chunks. While unlike many TV shows it obviously won’t return for season 2, it exists as a miniseries leading into… other Marvel projects, as so many of these shows do. But it sure was a great ride. I can’t wait to see how it turns out.
