Premier League predictions and best bets: Arsenal get back on track with win over Chelsea | Football news

After mentioning Bournemouth’s victory over Manchester City, our football betting expert, Jones Knows, is back to provide more insight into the Premier League.

Liverpool vs Aston Villa, Saturday 8pm – PLAY SUPER 6 HERE!

The predicted factor of fatigue and squad depth has materialized earlier than expected at Aston Villa, who have not looked good in their last three games. Unai Emery always earns respect from his teams in games like this as the underdog, but if Villa bring the same attacking threat we’ve seen recently, Liverpool could walk right here.

Villa will need a reset during the international break.

Arne Slot’s Liverpool are not always convincing during matches, but they have the knack of beating an opponent in a short space of time and thus taking the game away from them. It makes sense for Liverpool to cover their -1 handicap at 11/10 and win by two or more goals with Sky Bet.

SCORE PREDICTION: 2-0

Manchester United – Leicester, Sunday 2 p.m

Leicester is full of players who can draw yellow cards from the opponent.

In their last eight games, their opponents have booked an average of three players per game and I expect that number to be under threat here.

My eyes are drawn to Diogo Dalot at 4/1 with Sky Bet to be carded. He will likely face Abdul Fatawu, who has drawn 16 cards in his last 3,313 minutes of action – a healthy success rate considering someone is dealt a card every 194 minutes.

Facundo Buonanotte also likes to drift to the right and nine players have been carded for fouls on the teenager in his last 2,400 minutes of action.

Paul Merson thinks Ruben Amorim has a tough task to revive Manchester United’s season, with the club currently sitting 13th in the Premier League.

Dalot, playing as a makeshift left back, has already been carded three times this season. There would be a fourth on the way.

SCORE PREDICTION: 3-1

Tottenham – Ipswich, Sunday 2pm

Tottenham have conceded at least one goal in 19 of their last 20 home games in the Premier League, which tells you everything you need to know about their playing style.

Ipswich will have their moments when they show courage with the ball, something they were known for last season under Kieran McKenna. It is unwise to take on the Spurs directly as they have the ability to blow away a team in ten minutes as well as their ruthless attacking streak.

Ipswich can contribute to the scoreline though, and it makes sense to score a goal at any time at goal prices.

Omari Hutchinson has yet to really show herself at this level, but is dripping with talent and could well enjoy the space Ipswich was given at half-time. He is 5/1 to score with Sky Bet.

Dara O’Shea – always 18/1 here – has missed some big chances for Ipswich this season and you don’t have to be a football genius to know Spurs’ problems from set pieces.

SCORE PREDICTION: 4-2

Nottingham Forest vs Newcastle, Sunday 2pm, live on Sky Sports – PLAY SUPER 6 HERE!

Nottingham Forest vs Newcastle

This Nottingham Forest team is ranked third in the Premier League on merit – it’s no coincidence when we look at the underlying data. This is a devilishly difficult team to beat, but can they keep it up? With these two central defenders, Nikola Milenkovic and Murillo, they have a chance of a place in the top six. In nine games in which they started together, Forest conceded just 0.7 goals per 90.

I’d be surprised if Newcastle improve on that and score two or more, so Forest on the draw no bet market at 10/11 with Sky Bet looks like a tempting prize to consider.

SCORE PREDICTION: 2-1

Chelsea vs Arsenal, Sunday 4.30pm, live on Sky Sports – PLAY SUPER 6 HERE!

Chelsea vs Arsenal

I still think it’s too early for this Chelsea team to consistently challenge those at the top who have seen and done it in this Premier League for a few years now. There is also a mental block that the Blues need to overcome in these games.

Chelsea are winless in their last 25 games against Liverpool, Man City and Arsenal in all competitions, scoring just 16 goals in those matches.

But Arsenal are not flowing at the moment, that is clear.

There were promising shots in midweek against Inter, where they created 2.32 expected goals and were unlucky to lose the match. But even someone like me, who is chasing the title, has pushed his faith to the limit at the moment.

However, their threat from set pieces remains strong, and this is where they could win this exciting game. Gabriel at 6/1 with Sky Bet is of course the highlight, but Mikel Merino appears to have been signed with his physicality in mind. In six seasons at Real Sociedad he scored 60 headed shots, with an average of 0.35 per game – a healthy return.

Sunday, November 10, 4:00 PM

Starts at 4:30 PM

He has already scored a header for Arsenal this season and had a header for Inter Milan. He is too expensive at 14/1 with Sky Bet to score a header.

SCORE PREDICTION: 0-1
