Davante Adams is indeed about to be traded, and he is on his way to his favorite destination. The Jets are finalizing a deal to acquire Adams from the Raiders, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports.

The trade will see Vegas receive a conditional third-rounder from New York in 2025, Rapoport’s colleague Tom Pelissero added. That pick could become a second-round pick based on Adams’ performance with his new team. Crucial. Pelissero also notes that the Jets will pick up the remainder of Adams’ 2024 salary. Depending on how his new team fares, the Raiders could ultimately achieve their goal of landing a second-round pick without withholding any of his salary to accommodate a trade.
