OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Friday continues our recent trend of above average temperatures, with temperatures reaching nearly 90 degrees Fahrenheit this afternoon.

One difference is that it will be much less stuffy.

With an important game being played in Lincoln tonight, it will be a bit warm in Memorial Stadium.

There is a slight chance of a storm after 10 p.m. south of I-80 and especially closer to the Kansas border.

Although we will probably be able to watch football tonight without any problems, it cannot be completely ruled out that an occasional storm could develop towards the end.

There is still a chance of an isolated shower in the first half of Saturday, but it will remain dry.

This is the window in which it is most likely to be dry on Saturday or Sunday.

Saturday will be changeable, but it will remain warm and humid with temperatures around 27 degrees.

During the course of Saturday, the chance of showers and thunderstorms will increase, especially late in the afternoon and in the evening.

Most of the rain will probably fall during the night from Saturday to Sunday.

The rest of Sunday will likely see occasional rain, with some persistent showers possible on Monday morning.

Ultimately, rainfall will be between 1 and 2 inches across most of the area.

On Sunday the temperature will only reach around 17 degrees; that is 25 degrees lower than today!

Next week looks set to remain dry, with temperatures around 21 degrees Celsius and lows around 10 degrees Celsius.
