The Los Angeles Rams (0-2) host the San Francisco 49ers (1-1) for Week 3 of the NFL season. The Rams are battered, not broken, but if the injuries continue to pile up, their season could be over before it even begins. The 49ers have also been dealing with some serious injuries, so this game could end up being a very close one.

Sean McVay’s back is against the wall here. An 0-3 start for the Rams will raise questions for another week about what the Rams need to do to get on track. The answer is that the Rams just need to find a way to win. If they do that, maybe the negativity will die down for a week.

The 49ers have real Super Bowl aspirations after making the big game and falling short last season. The 49ers also signed Trent Williams and Brandon Aiyuk in the offseason, so their window is still open, but it won’t stay open forever. SF should take advantage of their selection while they can.
