The Los Angeles Rams (1-2) travel to the Chicago Bears (1-2) for some NFL action in Week 4. The Rams are probably glad they’re traveling to Chicago in September and not during the winter months. Both teams have gotten off to a slow start and it’s too early to tell if these teams can make up enough ground for a playoff spot.

Matthew Stafford played against the Bears a number of times during his years with the Detroit Lions, and he’ll get another chance to win against his former division rival. On the other sideline is Caleb Williams, who is just trying to find his way in the NFL as a rookie. Both quarterbacks have great arms, so there’s a chance for some big touchdowns today.

It should also be mentioned that the Bears appear to have a great defense led by their head coach Matt Eberflus. Will Sean McVay manage to outsmart the defensive Bears? Will Chris Shula be able to come up with the right defense to give Williams a tough day? LA’s defense has had its moments, but they have yet to put together a truly complete game.

With both teams needing a win to reach .500, it’s fair, but perhaps unnecessary, to say this is a must-win game for both franchises.

Of course, a drop to 1-3 is not the end, but it can make extending playing time after the regular season a lot more difficult. This is a big NFC matchup, and this game could still be talked about weeks from now depending on the final outcomes.
