Rams-Dolphins: Week 10, second half game thread

The Los Angeles Rams trail the Miami Dolphins 10-6 after the first half. The first two quarters featured turnovers, points and high energy, which is exactly what a fan might want to see during a Monday night game.

The Rams and especially their offense didn’t show up in the first quarter as they quickly found themselves behind 7-0 before Miami would score again to make their total 10-0 with about 14 minutes left in the half.

LA’s offense continued to falter throughout the second quarter as their o-line looked overwhelmed by Miami’s defense. LA responded when their defense forced an interception to give Sean McVay and his team some life, but LA’s response was Kyren Williams fumbling on the next play to set Miami up for another run with the ball.

Jared Verse answered the call for LA as he took matters into his own hands and forced a fumble to get the ball back for LA as the chaos of the second quarter continued.

It wasn’t until there were about six minutes left in the first half that LA scored a field goal to earn the first points of the game and make the score 10–3.

LA then tacked on another court to make the score 10-6 before the second quarter came to an end. LA gets the ball to start the second half.

It’s only one half of the game; however, it’s been the kind of game where the Rams would build momentum seemingly at any moment, they’d just as soon lose it, but there’s still plenty of time and storylines to discuss between the first and final whistles!
