Ranking NFL Teams by 2024-25 Super Bowl Odds

play

The NFL season is almost here, and while anything can happen once the lights come on, it appears we know who the odds are for this year’s Super Bowl. The Kansas City Chiefs are once again atop the odds boards. Patrick Mahomes and Co. have won two Super Bowls in a row and will be looking for a third in February.

But as always, the other top teams won’t make it easy. The Baltimore Ravens, San Francisco 49ers, Philadelphia Eagles, Houston Texans, Detroit Lions and many more are hungry for that Lombardi. What’s more, no team in NFL history has ever won the Super Bowl three times in a row. There have been three instances where a team has made it to the Super Bowl in three consecutive years (1990-93 Bills, 1971-73 Dolphins, 2016-18 Patriots), but none have achieved the coveted three-peat.

Here are every team’s Super Bowl odds as the 2024 NFL season begins.

NFL Week 1 Picks: Who will win the biggest games in the NFL’s opening weekend?

2024-25 Super Bowl Odds:

The favorites:

  • Kansas City Chiefs (+500)
  • San Francisco 49ers (+600)
  • Baltimore Ravens (+1000)
  • Detroit Lions (+1200)
  • Philadelphia Eagles (+1200)
  • Cincinnati Bengals (+1300)
  • Buffalo Bills (+1600)
  • Green Bay Packers (+1600)
  • Houston Texans (+1600)

In the two full seasons that Joe Burrow has played, the Cincinnati Bengals have won a conference championship and a Super Bowl. Despite being in one of the toughest divisions in football, Burrow has proven that he is someone who knows how to handle the postseason. At +1300, behind teams like the Baltimore Ravens, who have proven unable to win big games, and the Philadelphia Eagles, whose dysfunctional locker room has been made public during the offseason, the Bengals are a steal.

The outsiders:

  • Dallas Cowboys (+2000)
  • New York Jets (+2000)
  • Miami Dolphins (+2500)
  • Atlanta Falcons (+3000)
  • Los Angeles Rams (+3000)
  • Chicago Bears (+3500)
  • Cleveland Browns (+4000)
  • Los Angeles Chargers (+4000)

There’s only one team on this list with a Super Bowl-winning quarterback on their roster. The Los Angeles Rams have a very solid offense, with perhaps the best 1-2 receiver punch in the NFL as their cornerstone. Their offensive line is also underrated. Their defense, however, could be their downfall. Los Angeles has made some efforts to improve that side of the ball, but with Aaron Donald absent from their defensive line, the team’s defense will likely be worse than it was this time last year.

The underdogs:

  • Jacksonville Jaguars (+5000)
  • Pittsburgh Steelers (+5000)
  • Seattle Seahawks (+6600)
  • Indianapolis Colts (+8000)
  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+8000)
  • Minnesota Vikings (+10000)
  • New Orleans Saints (+10000)
  • Arizona Cardinals (+12500)

The Indianapolis Colts were one game away from reaching the postseason a year ago. Now they improve their quarterback skills, add another weapon for Anthony Richardson to throw to and land nine draft picks? They should be much higher.

Sure, the Jaguars and Texans are still tough opponents in their divisions, but this Colts team was a game out of first place in the AFC South with Gardner Minshew at quarterback a season ago. If Anthony Richardson stays healthy, this team could easily win 11 regular season games, especially with a third-place schedule.

The outsiders:

  • Denver Broncos (+15000)
  • Las Vegas Raiders (+15000)
  • Tennessee Titans (+15000)
  • Washington Commanders (+15000)
  • New York Giants (+20000)
  • Carolina Panthers (+25000)
  • New England Patriots (+30000)

There has been a lot of hype coming into training camp surrounding Denver’s first-round pick, Bo Nix. He’s been surprisingly effective early on, and if he can be what Russell Wilson is supposed to be, Mile High Stadium could be in for a surprise season.

They still won’t be the Chiefs. However, a 9-8 record, a second-place finish in the AFC West and a potential playoff spot aren’t out of the question if Nix can be as good as advertised.
