Ready for football? ESPN starts its 19and Monday night football season on Monday, September 9, with a multi-platform presentation of the New York Jets and San Francisco 49ers (8 p.m. ET, ESPN, ABC, ESPN2, ESPN+ and ESPN Deportes), Monday evening countdown‘s season debut (6 p.m. on ESPN) and a NFL Live two-hour episode (3:00-5:00 p.m., ESPN), all from Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara.

Monday night football will highlight a weekend of NFL programming and coverage from ESPN, including Sunday NFL Countdown (September 8, 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM), NFL PrimeTime (Sunday, September 8, 7:30 PM) and NFL game back. On Friday September 6, The Breakdown with Peyton and Belichick will debut on ESPN+ (with replays on ESPN2).

Overall, ESPN’s full NFL coverage will expand in Week 1 and continue through Super Bowl Sunday in New Orleans.

Monday night football
to vote Joe Buck And Troy Aikman begin their 23rd season together, the longest broadcast partnership in NFL history. Emmy Award winner Lisa Zouters returns for her 13th season – her third with Buck and Aikman – and extends her career as MNF’s longest serving reporter on the sidelines. Laura Rutledge will join the broadcast in Week 1, covering the 49ers, while Salters covers the Jets.

Monday Night Football with Peyton and Eli
– the industry’s signature alternative broadcast, presented in partnership with Omaha Productions – is scheduled for its fourth season, with Jets-49ers marking the first of 11 editions through the 2024-25 season. Peyton Manning And Eli Manning will welcome future Hall of Famer Bill Belichick as a special guest in the first half with additional guests in the second half. More here.

ESPN Deportes offers MNF Spanish language coverage
ESPN Deportes will have Spanish-language coverage led by Rebeca Landa who returns to the booth as play-by-play commentator alongside Sebastian Martinez-Christensen who makes his debut as a match analyst. Additionally, MJ Acosta-Ruiz will serve as the new sideline reporter. John Sutcliffe will remain with the team and report from the site, and Katia Castorena will report from the site for select MNF matches.

Extended, two hours NFL Live Precedes the season premiere of Monday evening countdown Direct from Santa Clara

  • Monday evening countdown: Ryan Clark, Jason KelceAnd Marcus Spears participate Scott Van Pelt as the quartet makes their regular season debuts. Clark, Spears and Van Pelt all return for a second season, while Kelce begins his rookie year as a commentator after a stellar playing career with the Philadelphia Eagles. Features reporter Michelle Beisner-Buck and senior NFL insider Adam Schefter will regularly contribute to the program.
  • NFL Live: ESPN’s daily NFL show begins at 3 p.m. This fall, the show will expand to two hours on Mondays (3-5 p.m.). Mina Kimes And Dan Orlovskywill join Rutledge, along with Clark and Spears, as the host before assuming her responsibilities on the sidelines. NFL Live Commentators will be on site several times this season, including in Philadelphia for the Falcons-Eagles in Week 2. NFL Live will be broadcast the rest of the week from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Prior to the programming from Levi’s Stadum, Sports center (07:00 am and 2:00 pm), Stand up (08.00 am), First recording (10 hours) and The Pat McAfee Show (Afternoon) gets all the reactions from Week 1 and sets the tone for the Jets-49ers.

Sunday NFL Countdown Ready for 40th season
ESPN’s Sunday NFL Countdown will begin its 40th season as host Mike Groenberg will join the Super Bowl Champions Teddy Bruschi And Rex RyanPro Football Hall of Famer Randy Moss and three-time Pro Bowl quarterback Alex Smit. Schefter will provide all the latest news and information, while Sports Betting Analyst Erin Dolan also returns. Reporters on location in week 1:

ESPN Radio will have live coverage of the games throughout the season, beginning with the Steelers vs. Falcons and the Broncos vs. Seahawks in Week 1.

  • The Breakdown with Peyton and Belichick: Former opponents turned ESPN teammates Peyton Manning and Bill Belichick offer a film room, schedule breakdown of the Jets and 49ers days ahead of Week 1 Monday night football marquee matchup. The show debuts Friday, September 6 on ESPN+, with coverage on ESPN2 throughout the weekend.
    • Throughout the season, the 30-minute show will release a new episode on Fridays that will precede a Monday Night Football with Peyton and Eli alternating broadcast, with each edition of The Breakdown with Peyton and Belichick focusing only on the two teams playing Monday night football in the coming week.
  • NFL PrimeTime: The highlight show returns with the legendary Chris Berman and Super Bowl champion Snotneus McFarlandThe show airs on ESPN+, starting at 7:30 p.m. on Sundays.
  • NFL game: Sal Paolantonio, Darius Butler And Greg Cosell return for their second season together, as the deep-dive breakdown show premieres Saturdays on ESPN2 and shortly thereafter on demand on ESPN+. On Sundays, NFL gameairs on ESPN (typically at 4:00 and 6:30 p.m.) as the first episode of the network’s Sunday programming during the NFL season.
  • Turning point: Hosted by Louis Riddick and in partnership with NFL Films, the recap and highlights show provides a dramatic look at the key moments from the biggest games each week. Turning point will be available every Wednesday during the season.
