Real Madrid blames UEFA

The report suggests that Real Madrid are solely blaming UEFA. The club believes that European football’s governing body was the main orchestrator behind Rodri’s victory.

In fact, Real Madrid considers UEFA their main enemy for several reasons. It should be noted that the two entities have had tensions in the past over Madrid’s support of the European Super League.

With UEFA teaming up with France Football for the Ballon d’Or for the first time since 1956, Real Madrid believe the organization has played a key role in ensuring Vinicius does not win the award.

Real Madrid also believe that the criteria taken into account for Rodri’s victory should ideally have led to Dani Carvajal winning the trophy.

Due to this decision, the club decided to skip the event as it believed their attendance was not appreciated.
