Reba McEntire Made Snoop Dogg Cry on ‘The Voice’ — Watch the Moment

Is there anything more moving than the image of a crying Dogg?

During the season 26 premiere of “The Voice” on September 23, new coach Snoop Dogg was reduced to tears when fellow coach Reba McEntire made an unexpected move during a blind audition.

The “Fancy” singer used the show’s newly installed Coach Replay button, which allows coaches to change their minds if they don’t turn their chairs after contestant Kendall Eugene completes her audition.

After Eugene finished his performance of Morgan Wallen’s “Don’t Think Jesus,” all the coaches were complimentary and McEntire quickly realized she had made a mistake by skipping him.

“I liked everything,” she said of his performance.

“You should have turned around,” Eugene replied.

“I was going to say the exact same words,” McEntire replied.

“I don’t understand why I didn’t turn around,” she said a few moments later.

The “Fancy” singer then announced that she would make “Voice” history by becoming the first coach to use the replay option.

“We have something new this year, which is a Coach Replay button. I’m going to use mine,” she said, pressing her button, sending the audience into a frenzy as Eugene buried his face in his hand.

Snoop Dogg didn’t miss the moment either.

“Wow! Give that man a hug,” the “Gin and Juice” rapper McEntire pleaded.

A few seconds later, the camera panned back to Snoop, who lifted his glasses and wiped his eyes as McEntire and Eugene embraced.

“I knew in my heart I wanted him on my team,” she said.

Snoop, meanwhile, continued to feel the effects of the moment as he dabbed at his eyes once more. He also got emotional at another point in the episode, when fellow coach Michael Bublé took the stage to sing with contestant Ben Fagerstedt.

The duo teamed up for a rendition of Frank Sinatra’s “I’ve Got You Under My Skin.”

“Damn, that was some great coaching,” Snoop said as he gave a standing ovation.
