Tanner Houck, who missed his final start on Sunday with a shoulder injury, was a late scratch Friday night and was replaced by Richard Fitts, a 24-year-old making his second career start. Houck is 0-4 with a 4.78 ERA in nine starts since the All-Star break.

Clarke Schmidt will make his second start for the Yankees since returning from the injured list after missing 86 games with a right back injury.
