Atlanta-based rapper Rich Homie Quan, known for his chart-topping hits, has been found dead at the age of 34. Reports say his girlfriend found him “unresponsive” when she arrived home and immediately called 911 after finding him “foaming at the mouth.” Recorded audio of the conversation between the rapper’s girlfriend and authorities has revealed chilling details about his death.

Cause of Death of Rich Homie Quan

As an investigation into the death of Rich Homie Quan continues, TMZ has obtained a copy of the 911 call made by his girlfriend, Amber Williams. The couple reportedly have children, and according to the call, Williams left the house to pick up their son from school before finding Quan’s body on the couch.

The audio recording, which was released just hours after the Atlanta rapper’s tragic passing, details the harrowing moments that led to his discovery. Williams explained that she found Quan unresponsive on their couch the morning after he went to bed. She thought he was just fast asleep, so she covered him with a blanket and left to take her son to school. When she got home, she checked on Quan and was shocked to find that he had no pulse and wasn’t breathing. “I can’t feel a pulse. I can’t see him breathing,” she said through tears.

She then described the moment she tried to wake him up, but noticed his mouth started foaming. “When I turned him over, he started foaming,” she said, according to the audio.

Rich Homie Quan pronounced dead at the scene

The 911 operator walked Williams through the steps to help Quan breathe, instructing her to lay the rapper flat on his back. Paramedics arrived shortly afterward. The 34-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene. According to Page Six, the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office has scheduled an autopsy for the rapper on Friday.

The cause of death has not yet been released. RHQ was born Dequantes Devontay Lamar on October 4, 1990 and passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 5. Quan rose to prominence in 2013 with his hit single “Type of Way” and continued to build his fan base with songs like “Flex (Ooh, Ooh, Ooh)” and “Ride Out.” He also collaborated with Young Thug on the Cash Money Records project Rich Gang and frequently collaborated with other Atlanta artists like 2 Chainz and Jacquees.
