Rich Homie Quan’s girlfriend found his lifeless body on the couch in their Atlanta home and called 911.

The rapper’s partner panicked when he told the operator he was “not breathing” and that there was no heartbeat on the recording obtained by TMZ.

According to the girlfriend, Rich Homie Quan did not return to bed after falling asleep on the couch Wednesday night. Before dropping her son off at school Thursday morning, she placed a blanket over the artist after realizing he had not moved.

When she came back, she went to check on him, because ‘he never got up’.

“I can’t feel a pulse. I can’t see him breathing,” the friend says, before revealing that the “Type of Way” rapper was “foaming at the mouth” when she turned him over.

At one point she asks the operator if she can “add his father to the call,” but the dispatcher instructs her, “We need to help your friend now.”

“He’s not waking up – fast!” the friend pleads before the operator tells her that help is coming.

The platinum-selling rapper — born Dequantes Devontay Lamar on October 4, 1990 — died suddenly on Thursday, September 5, The Post confirmed.

“On Thursday, September 5, 2024, the Fulton County Coroner was notified by Grady Memorial Hospital of the passing of Dequantes Devontay Lamar,” the coroner said in a statement.

The cause of death of Rich Homie Quan is unknown as an autopsy is scheduled for Friday.

The musician broke into the mainstream hip-hop scene in 2013 with his instant hit, “Type of Way,” which charted on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

He has collaborated with several Atlanta rappers throughout his career, including 2 Chainz and Jacquees. He also joined forces with Young Thug on the Cash Money Records project, “Rich Gang.”

Rich Homie Quan’s name was mentioned in the RICO trial against Young Thug just days before his unexpected death.

As the family searches for answers, rapper Boosie Badazz claims the musician allegedly overdosed. Autopsy results could take weeks if they are delayed for additional testing.

Rich Homie Quan was 33 years old.
