Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are searching for a robbery suspect after a business was attacked Saturday morning south of Gravenhurst.

According to police, it happened around 5:10 a.m. at a service area on Highway 11 South.

“The suspect entered the store, displayed an edged weapon and demanded money,” an OPP news release said Saturday.

The suspect fled on foot with money and cigarettes. He is described as white, wearing a black hoodie, black pants and a ski mask. The employee was not injured.
