A cafe inspired by pop star Sabrina Carpenter is popping up this weekend for a short and sweet stay for fans of the ‘Espresso’ singer.

Cash App is teaming up with Carpenter to bring a ‘Short N’ Sweet Cafe’ pop-up to 30 E. Adams St.

The pop-up, which is temporarily taking over Happy Monday Coffee, opened at 8am on Saturday, with hundreds of fans lining up for an immersive pre-concert experience.

Carpenter will perform at the United Center for her “Short N’ Sweet Tour” on Sunday at 7 p.m., after the marathon.

By 4pm on Saturday, 655 people had entered, and hundreds were still standing around the block.

Timmerman was not present at the cafe, but drove by in a black SUV around 12:30 p.m

Many attendees of the pop-up were fans who did not have tickets for Sunday’s show, including 23-year-old Lizbeth Araujo.

Araujo traveled from Berwyn for the exclusive merchandise and a drink from the espresso bar.

“I got in line at 10:30 a.m., and it’s almost 3 p.m. and we still haven’t gotten in, but she came by before and waved at us, so that made the wait all worth it for me,” Araujo said .

Stephanie Rendo, 23, of the South Side found herself near the middle of the line after a nearly three-hour wait, but didn’t give up because she wanted to experience the pop-up.

“I don’t have tickets to her concert, but we’re here for the merchandise I hope to wear tomorrow,” Rendo said. “I’ll be at the box office tomorrow at four o’clock to get tickets.”

The pop-up featured T-shirts, sweatshirts, tote bags and more, all related to her “Short N’ Sweet Tour.” In the espresso bar, where she had no espresso, drinks such as Fuzzy Pink Kombucha, Honeybee Iced Latte and a Common Sense Chai were among the offerings.

“When you’re here, it’s like being part of a small community. We all love the artist, and it’s a lot of fun,” said Gamaliel Ybarra.

The pop-up was cozy, with photo opportunities everywhere and kisses in different shades of blue and red lipstick everywhere.

Ybarra, 26, of Midway said the experience was short-lived, but “it was cute.”

“The pop-up adequately describes Sabrina’s aesthetic, as long as you know it, you know it.”

On Sundays the café is open from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
