ATLANTA – New Orleans Saints tight end Taysom Hill didn’t take long to show how much the Saints missed him last week.

Hill, who missed last week’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles with a pectoral injury, showed no lasting signs of that against the Atlanta Falcons. With 13:46 left in the second quarter, Hill ran in for the second of his two first-half touchdowns, scoring on a 5-yard run to put the Saints ahead 14–7.

Hill also had a snap for a two-yard touchdown in the first quarter. That score tied the game at 7-7 after the Falcons scored an early touchdown on a cushioned kick from Rashid Shaheed.

Hill set up his second touchdown with a 7-yard gain on 4th-and-1 earlier in the drive, lining up at fullback for running back Alvin Kamara and receiving the handoff to run through an open lane.

He also had a key block on a 13-yard gain by Kamara in the first quarter.
