Sam Elliott swears by Kamala Harris in new campaign ad. (Watch it below.)

The 80-year-old actor, known for his down-to-earth vocals in westerns and other films and TV shows, urged voters to embrace the “courage” of the Democratic candidate and avoid the “lies and hatred” of Donald Trump.

“Are we really going to go down the same broken road again?” Elliott says in the video released Monday by the Lincoln Project.

The images are often the standard ones you’ll find in other campaign ads – wilderness, farms and the American flag – but Elliott’s words cut through as if they’ve flown from a crackling campfire.

“It’s time to be a man and vote for a woman,” Elliott says.

We hear you, buddy.

Elliott did a similar ad for President Joe Biden a few years ago, and his vote came in then, too.

The “Tombstone” and “The Quick and the Dead” star is joined by other celebrities known for their voices ― Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish and Fran Drescher ― in supporting the vice president.
