Seahawks at 49ers Week 11 Inactives

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – From an injury standpoint, there wasn’t any mystery about who will and won’t play for the Seahawks in their Week 11 game against the 49ers.

Tight ends Noah Fant and Brady Russell were ruled out on Friday’s injury report, while no other players will have an injury designation in the game.

That means, as expected, receiver DK Metcalf is back after missing the past two games with a knee injury, and right tackle Abraham Lucas is active after spending the first nine games of the season on the physical non-performer list .

Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald did not say whether Lucas will start, but the expectation is he will play, albeit perhaps on a pitch count basis.

“We expect we’ll see him in a pretty significant way,” Macdonald said Friday. “We’re still making progress here, so the number of reps we’re going to get, we’ll see as the game unfolds. We have a plan, we have a target number of reps, we’ll leave that at home for now, but I’m excited to see him do his thing.

Also active for the Seahawks are two players who were signed off the practice squad on Saturday, receiver Cody White, who will serve as one of three game-day captains, and tight end Tyler Mabry, who provides depth at tight end with Russell and Fant both. out. The Seahawks also signed two players from the practice squad who are also active for Sunday’s game, safety Ty Okada and linebacker Patrick O’Connell.

For the 49ers, All-Pro tight end George Kittle is inactive after being listed as doubtful due to a hamstring injury. Two of San Francisco’s other top players who were listed as questionable, defenseman Nick Bosa and left tackle Trent Williams, are both active.

Here are the inactive lists for both teams:
