Seattle Seahawks star receiver DK Metcalf was carted off the sideline in the 4th quarter with a knee injury. He took a hit from Atlanta Falcons safety Justin Simmons as he was jumping to catch a pass from Geno, sending him horizontally out of bounds.

DK was seen jogging back and forth on the sideline to test his knee after the hit, but shook his head “no,” which is never a good sign. Shortly afterwards he was taken to the dressing room.

I’m not a lip reader, but he seems to say “I’m fine” to a teammate as he jogs by. DK Metcalf had a good day, catching four passes for 99 yards and one touchdown. He also made a tough catch on a small rainbow from Jaxon Smith-Njigba in the second quarter.

We’ll have to wait for further updates from Mike Macdonald after the game. I hope it’s all precautionary!
