Selena Gomez it’s all business beneath her Emilia Perez press tour.

Last night in New York City, the singer and actor continued her all-black streak with an elegant ensemble that commanded the room (or at least the sidewalk she walked on). For a night out on the town, Gomez wore a black ruffled top with a rosette detail, which appealed to her former style obsession-as well as custom high-waisted pants. A thin, black leather belt with a gold buckle accentuated her look, while she layered with a long blazer jacket.

Keeping with her monochrome theme, she carried a small black Yves Saint Laurent handbag, and underneath she wore a pair of pointed patent leather pumps. A pair of gold and diamond rings added some sparkle to her outfit, as did a dangling pair of diamond earrings. The star added an extra dose of glamor with winged black eyeliner and glossy pink lip, as she wore her hair in bouncy curls.

The night before, Gomez donned another blazer look, although this time she opted to wear the outerwear as a minidress. She buttoned up a black fitted blazer dress atop a white ruffled shirt dress by Francesca Miranda, creating a look that proved she was a press tour veteran. She complemented her ensemble with strappy black Christian Louboutin heels and went for her usual glam routine.

Later that evening, the actor was joined by her Emilia Perez co-stars Karla Sofía Gascón and Zoe Saldaña during a SAG-AFTRA foundation talk for the film. Onstage, Gomez pulled out one final accessory for her look: She donned a pair of red cat-eye glasses to signal her sartorial seriousness.
