The NRSC is trying to elect Republicans to the Senate. In the 2024 general election, the GOP flipped seats in West Virginia, Montana and Ohio and will now control the Senate for the next two years.

Trump is even better,” Scott said in a statement. “That means the entire four years of his presidency will deliver low inflation, secure borders, and safe streets, leading to a generation of American prosperity! With Donald J. Trump in the White House and Republicans in charge of the U.S. Senate, we will protect our majority. by 2026 and creating opportunities for all Americans.”

Scott’s announcement was also accompanied by three endorsements from three leading U.S. Senators, including Steve Daines (R-MT), Marco Rubio (R-FL), and John Barrasso (R-WY).
