Katie Taylor remains the undisputed super lightweight champion of the world after beating Amanda Serrano 95-94 on all three scorecards in a controversial fight. The evenly matched fighters went toe-to-toe for 10 rounds, but Taylor was warned for overusing her head and was deducted a point in the eighth round.

After the Dallas fight, Serrano said, “She (Taylor) kept headbutting me, but we knew that from the very beginning.” Taylor defended her tactics and called the fight, which was the main undercard match in the Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson fight, “an absolute slugfest.”
