Skai Jackson becomes a mother. The former Disney star confirmed her pregnancy PEOPLE Magazine along with photos of her growing baby bump.

“I’m excited to start this new chapter in my life: embracing motherhood and diving into new acting projects. My heart is so full!” the 22-year-old shared with the outlet. Previously, rumors that she was pregnant began circulating after she was arrested in August 2024 on misdemeanor charges for alleged domestic violence.

In the report, she and her boyfriend informed police that there was no physical altercation and that they were engaged and expecting. The charges against Jackson were later dropped.

As she prepares for motherhood, the… Jessie actress has a new project coming out later this year. Per PEOPLE, Jackson will play the lead role The man in the white vanin theaters on December 13. According to Collider, the film is a horror-thriller from director Warren Skeels. Loosely based on a true story, it explores what happened in 1974 in a quaint family town in Florida, where an ominous white van chases a young girl and her parents.

“Growing up, I was never a Disney girl who watched Disney movies,” Jackson shared with the outlet about joining the cast.

“I used to watch Chucky and Freddy Krueger, so I love any type of horror movie. When this audition came along, I thought, ‘Oh my god, I just have to!’ This was a lot of fun to work on, to be able to have this experience and tell the story. I’m definitely proud of the film.”
