Nunes struggled to find his rhythm against the more experienced Goyat in the ring. Goyat demonstrated his experienced approach by running past Nunes during their fight, limiting Nunes’ offensive.

Midway through the fight, Nunes and Goyat were locked in a clinch, before Goyat got Nunes back with a wrestling nod. But things took a bizarre turn when the referee tried to separate the boxers and restart the action.

In the clip below, Goyat tried to punch Nunes into one of the ring corners from behind. Fortunately, the referee stepped in to quickly stop the action before a lengthy broadcast followed the broadcast.

Nunes seemed to take the gesture to heart, laughed it off and did not retaliate against Goyat. He subsequently lost to Goyat by unanimous decision, dropping to 0–2 in his professional boxing career.

The victory over Nunes gave Goyat his second consecutive victory in the boxing ring. Before tonight’s event, Goyat Phakorn eliminated Aiemyod in May 2023.

The undercard of Paul vs. Tyson featured a slew of bizarre moments in the lead-up to the highly anticipated headliner. A clash between Lucas Bahdi and Armando Casamonica led to a number of controversial scorecards that sent social media into a frenzy.

Paul returns to the ring for the first time since finishing Bare Knuckle FC star Mike Perry earlier this year. Tyson, meanwhile, makes his first professional boxing appearance since 2005.
