Sain to Lane. I repeat Sain to Lane. That’s right South Side alumni and Columbia
State graduate Ericko Sain takes his talents to Lane College
basketball team. While still in high school, he scored over 1,000 points in his career, while also
a Mr. Basketball finalist and state champion. At Columbia he shot 52.3 percent from the field, 40 percent
of the 3 and 62.8 percent of the charity strike. We caught up with the latest Lane College
Dragon and this is what he had to say about the school’s choice.

“I chose it because it was a great coaching staff and I felt most welcome with that team and
two I saw that I could be back home and play in front of the crowd that had seen me play two years earlier, so it felt good to take the course, yes.”

He also said he is looking forward to winning a championship. Congratulations Ericko and congrats to the Dragons
at a big signing session.
